Protected content

# A black result can be expected

Protected content may appear black when an app prevents screen sharing.

## What is happening

### The app marks content as protected

An app can restrict whether some or all of its visible content enters a screen-sharing stream.

### The system enforces that policy

The protected region or the entire shared frame may be delivered as black.

### Dancer Mirror preserves the result

The product does not attempt to bypass or reconstruct protected pixels.

What to do next

## Check whether other content is shareable

If only one app or region appears black, its sharing policy is the likely boundary. Repeated consent does not override that policy. On Android you can also fall back to a local movie in the practice player.

**The media boundary does not change.**

Dancer Mirror captures no audio, makes no recording, and uploads no frames.
